I loved this term a lot because it was fun and we did a lot of fun activities. My favourite thing this term was going to see “Fame” at the light house theatre. My second Favourite thing this year was going to Brower Collage for fun activities. I really enjoyed science this term because we are the only class in the school that has two science lessons so on Mondays after art we would got a Deakin uni student studying fresh water biology named Mike Herbet. He was very nice and he is my friend because on open day I helped him in the science lab and helped him pack up at the very end! They were some of the reasons why I loved this term!! 🙂 😉

On Thursday the 13th of June we went to a first aid program at school with Tom from St Jones Ambulance. It was lots of fun and after we got certificate for completing all the drills. First we learnt how the doctor ABCD and to put someone who is unconscious and breathing into the recovery position. Then we learnt to do CPR on a dummy! 🙂 . Next we learnt how to help someone if they are bleeding and if they got glass or a pen suck in some where in them we learnt how to ban dig it up and stop the bleeding. It was lots and lots of fun and I had to demonstrate how to put someone in the recovery position. I want to do it again!!! THANKYOU TOM!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 😉

On Friday the 24th of May my mum, dad, brother and I went to Faraday after school for Riley’s (my brother) hockey. Before we went to my Nan’s farm in Faraday we went to Castlemaine to see my gran in hospital. The next day I stayed the whole day with my nan while mum, dad and Riley went to Melbourne for Riley’s hockey. First nan and I fed the calves then went into Castlemaine to see a Binnie afire. Then we went out for lunch. When we got back to the farm we went out in the tractor and nan taught me how to drive it so now I can drive a tractor. I had a great weekend and so did my nan!!!!!!! 🙂 ;):p

On Friday the 17th of May all the year 5/6s from East, Port Fairy and Merivale all met at our School because those three school are doing a play called “Plat It Again”. We all gathered in the big hall and got split into groups. I was in group 12 and our first activity was makeup with the Colour Angle that was fun she put a bullet hole on Cory using only makeup and wax. After snack it was drama was a girl, that was fun but I didn’t enjoy it as much as makeup. Then we did garage band with a teacher from Port Fairy, I had a lot of fun mucking around with it. At the end of the day everyone had fun but I had the most.

On Friday the 10^th  of May my mum and I drove to Port Fairy for my karate black belt grading. Half an hour after I had arrived I had to quickly get dressed into my gee and walk down to dojo by 7.00pm. we trained until 9.00pm and I ended up going to bed at 11.30pm. At 5.00 in the morning we had to be up and dressed and on the dojo floor at 5.30am. We trained until 7.00 and then had breakfast, we trained until 1.00 and then we had lunch and went to the beach. At the beach we played games like have the most water in your bucket, blind fold digging, belt race, marko polo blind foled and blindfold kata in the water. On Sunday it was the big grading, it was hard but I passed so now I am a junior back belt.

On Thursday the 13 of March 1013 it was the year 3-6 house athletics day. First we did relays, I was in the mixed relays and I my group came 1st. Then we went into groups and did the activities. My group the 12/13 year olds girls did shot put first, I got a c. Next was 100m, I got another c. Then was hurdles and I got a b yay. Next was high jump (c), triple jump (b), long jump (c), 200m (c) and last but not least was discus (b). Gold house ended up wining so go gold house 🙂
